How to create

- For 1/8 head of cabbage, shred into fingernail-sized pieces. 1 can (100 g) tuna, pre-drained.

- Heat 1 T olive oil in a medium skillet, then add 1 T minced garlic and the trimmed cabbage and sauté.

- When the cabbage is done, add 100 grams of rice and a can of tuna, drained of oil.
- Add 1 T allulose, 2 T sriracha, 0.5 T chili powder, and 1 T dark soy sauce to the stir-fry.
💡 Pour the soy sauce into the empty space around the edges of the pan to give it a little flavor.
💡 You can turn off the heat for a while before adding the ingredients to prevent burning.

- Sauté for another 2 minutes over medium heat.

- Remove from heat and toss with 1 T sesame oil, a pinch of black pepper, and divide in half.

- Spread a thin layer of half of the filling over the nori, then add the mozzarella cheese.
💡The kimbap foot allows you to roll your kimbap more tightly and neatly.

- Roll the nori tightly.
💡If you don't roll it up and let the last bit of dough go to the bottom, it will stick better.

- Microwave for 1 minute to melt the cheese.
💡Make the remaining ingredients in the same way.

- After microwaving, let the kimbap cool slightly and then slice it into slices with sesame oil.
💡Pour sesame oil on the back of your knife and use the back of your knife to coat the kimbap with sesame oil so you can cut it neatly without gloves.
💡Be careful with freshly microwaved kimbap as it is very hot and can easily burst on the sides. - A sprinkling of whole sesame seeds to finish off the dish is a nice touch.
Caveats & tips
- Choose a cheese: Try adding your favorite cheese besides mozzarella.
- Save calories: Reduce the amount of rice and increase the amount of cabbage to make a lighter diet kimbap.
- Adjusting the spiciness: Adjust the amount of Sriracha and chili powder to customize the spiciness to your liking.
- Grilling kimbap: Pan-fry the softened nori seaweed without oil.
- Leftover kimbap nori: Store leftover kimbap seaweed in a sealed container in the freezer.
- Mozzarella cheese is high in protein and calcium, yet low in calories and fat compared to other cheeses, making it a great choice for dieters.
