- Marinated Chicken (utilizes leftover chicken)
- 200 g rice
- Cooking oil

- 2 T mayonnaise
- 1 T tomato ketchup
- 0.5 T Sriracha
- Sambal Ketchup 0.5T

How to create

- Coat a piece of paper foil with a thin layer of cooking oil.

- Spread 200 grams of rice in a thin layer.
- Coat the rice with a thin layer of cooking oil and cover with paper foil.

- Press it flat with a heavy pot or cutting board.

- Remove the foil and top with the remaining marinated chicken, not overlapping.

- Place the rice and chicken spread in the airfryer and bake at 180 degrees for 12 minutes.

- In the meantime, make your sauce. 2 T mayonnaise, 1 T tomato ketchup, 0.5 T sriracha, 0.5 T sambal ketchupand mix well.


- Place the toasted rice from the air fryer on a plate and top with the chicken.


- If you have any leftover chicken seasoning, sprinkle it over the chicken and finish with one more drizzle of the prepared sauce.
Caveats & tips
- If you spread the rice too thickly, it won't crisp up on the inside, so spread it as thinly as possible.
- To keep the chicken from drying out, you may want to cover it loosely with foil halfway through cooking in the air fryer.
- If your leftover chicken is fried rather than marinated, add the marinade to the side for extra flavor.
- If you don't have any leftover chicken, try using frozen marinated chicken or chicken shreds.
