How to create

- Cut the fish cakes (2-3 slices) into thick strips and the onion (1/2) into thin slices.

- Heat 2 T of cooking oil in a skillet and fry the eggs to cook through. Set the finished fried egg aside.

- In the same pan over medium heat, add the fish cakes and onions and stir-fry.

- Once the fish cakes and onions are golden brown, add the prepared seasoning.

- Reduce the heat to low, and stir-fry the spices, making sure they don't burn.

- Place 200 grams of rice in a bowl and top with fried fish cakes and a fried egg.

- Finally, drizzle with 1 T sesame oil and sprinkle with whole sesame seeds to finish.
Caveats & tips
- Additional toppings: Add sliced chives, scallions, sesame leaves, and green chiles to your taste. The flavors will come alive.
- Fire control: If you cook the gochujang on high heat after it's seasoned, it can easily burn and become bitter. Be sure to cook it on low heat.
- Meals application: One bowl is filling without any side dishes, and the leftover fried fish cakes can be used as a side dish for the next meal.
