Preparation materials

  • 1/2 whole tofu
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 T tuna liquid
  • 0.5 to 1 green chili pepper
  • 1 T sesame oil
  • 1 T dark soy sauce
  • 0.5 T chili powder
  • Allulose 0.5T

How to create

  • Cut 1/2 of the pure tofu into small pieces and place in a bowl.

  • In a bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, 1 T tuna liquid, and chopped green chiles.

  • Pour the egg wash over the sliced soft tofu.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes.
  • In the meantime, make the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together 1 T sesame oil, 1 T dark soy sauce, 0.5 T chili powder, and 0.5 T allulose.

  • Remove the bowl from the microwave, gently stir the egg wash next to the soft tofu, replace the plastic wrap, and microwave for 2 more minutes.
  • When the egg is completely set, it's ready. Drizzle the marinade evenly over the steamed tofu egg.
