Ingredients

Flavored butter

Sugar

American Sliced Cheese
Instructions
Let the butter come to room temperature or microwave it in small batches to soften it.
30 g salted butter
Mix sugar into butter
2 T sugar
Place sliced cheese on top of the bread and cover the bread again
2 sheets of bread,
2 slices American sliced cheese
Spread half of the butter mixture on one side of the bread
Heat a skillet over low heat and place the bread buttered side down
Brush the tops with the remaining butter and grill, flipping from side to side, until golden brown.
Notes
Cheese is a
Mozzarella/Gouda/Emental
or whatever you prefer.
The fan must be a
Low
Keep - the sugar will caramelize quickly and burn.
If you want it crispier, add the last 30 seconds to the
Medium-low
to quickly colorize just the outside.
