Buttered Toast Recipe

Crispy on the outside and rich on the inside with two slices of American cheese, this super easy dessert is made with just 4 ingredients!

Equipment

  • 1 Frying pan
  • 1 measuring spoon1T=15cc, 1t=5cc
  • 1 Flip or tongs
  • 1 butter knife or spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 30 g Flavored butter
  • 2 T Sugar
  • 2 Chapter Bread
  • 2 Chapter American Sliced Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Let the butter come to room temperature or microwave it in small batches to soften it.
    30 g salted butter
  • Mix sugar into butter
    2 T sugar
  • Place sliced cheese on top of the bread and cover the bread again
    2 sheets of bread, 2 slices American sliced cheese
  • Spread half of the butter mixture on one side of the bread
  • Heat a skillet over low heat and place the bread buttered side down
  • Brush the tops with the remaining butter and grill, flipping from side to side, until golden brown.

Notes

  • Cheese is a Mozzarella/Gouda/Emental or whatever you prefer.
  • The fan must be a Low Keep - the sugar will caramelize quickly and burn.
  • If you want it crispier, add the last 30 seconds to the Medium-lowto quickly colorize just the outside.
