Super Easy Ramen Noodle Tart Recipe for Snacks & Sake Appetizers in 5 Minutes

This super easy ramen noodles recipe is an easy way to make a childhood favorite, ramen noodles, without frying them in oil. All you need is a microwave and you're good to go, making it easy to whip up during your busy day. The sweet and salty flavor of mayonnaise and sugar makes this recipe a great snack or drink. It's so good, you won't be able to eat just one! Here's how to make this easy recipe that anyone can follow.

What is Ramen Land?

The ingredients needed to make ramen tang are simple, but the flavor can vary depending on which ramen noodles you choose. For the base, we recommend using fried ramen noodles that are coated in oil, such as Anseong Tang Noodles, Shin Ramyun, or Jin Ramyun, as these noodles have a nice crispiness to them. If you're looking for a crispier texture, try using thinner noodles, such as snack noodles. If you prefer lower calories, you can use dry noodles that aren't fried and use low-sugar mayonnaise and allulose, but the flavor will be a bit off. No matter which ramen you choose, it's up to you!

Ingredients (per serving)

  • 1 package ramen noodles (choose your favorite type)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • (optional) Ramen soup

By measurements: 1 T=15 cc, use 1 t=5 cc measuring spoons

The creation process

Seasoning

Prepare ramen noodles to your liking. Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of the ramen noodles. Try to spread it as thin and wide as possible. You can adjust the amount of mayonnaise, but if it's too much, you'll feel it. Sprinkle a tablespoon of sugar on top. Sprinkle the sugar evenly to avoid clumping.

Flip it over and do the same on the other side. The mayonnaise and sugar will enhance the flavor and crisp them up during cooking.

Microwave

Place the sauce-coated ramen noodles on a plate and microwave for 1 minute at first. When the time is up, flip the ramen over and cook the other side for another minute. If it lacks color or crispness, give it another 30 seconds, but don't overcook it or it will burn.

Drizzle your favorite ramen soup on top of the finished ramen noodles for extra spicy flavor.

Complete

The cooked ramen noodles will be very hot, so use tongs, a fork, or chopsticks to break them into bite-sized pieces. It's easier to break them up if you poke them with a utensil while they're hot. Let them cool for about 5 minutes to crisp up and enjoy.

Alternative ingredients and cooking tips

  • Use butter instead of mayonnaise for a more savory flavor.
  • Instead of sugar, you can use honey or syrup to vary the sweetness.
  • If you're worried about calories, try substituting low-sugar mayonnaise, dried noodles, and allulose.
  • For a spicy flavor, add a splash of ramen soup. The flavor will vary slightly depending on the ramen you choose, but we recommend Anseong Tang Noodles.
  • Try sprinkling a little ramen noodle soup before microwaving. The flavor of the ramen soup will be stronger.
  • You can serve the ramen soup separately and adjust the spiciness to your liking.
  • Use an air fryer instead of a microwave to make crispier ramen noodles. (Cook at 180°C for 5 minutes)
